Corner Cable for Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip
Compatibility
There are 5 versions of Philips Hue LightStrip, many with differing connectors.  There are 3 revisions of Lightstrip Plus, there is Gradient Lightstrip and also a Solo Lightstrip.  Most versions have 2 different sized connectors, the Control Box socket and the LightStrip Extension connector, making 3 different cable combinations for each of the 5 versions.  That’s 15 different cables, plus splitters.

As all these cables are made to order, please ensure this cable is compatible with your LightStrip and connects between your intended sockets/connectors.

Other Cables
This is made to order Corner Piece cable for Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip that will link a Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip to an Extension LightStrip.  This will give you extra flexibility to contend with corners when used between LightStrips.  All contacts on this cables connectors are gold plated for perfect performance, and lasting reliability.

There are multiple scenarios for which these can be used.  For example, you may want to light a rectangle behind a Television Screen.  This gives you the flexibility to go around any corner without putting the LightStrip under any physical stress.  You would need one of these Corner Piece's for each corner.

This will not work in between any cut edges of LightStrip.

All of our Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip Adapters, Corners and Cables are made with the proper connectors for the Philips Hue Gradient LightStrip system.

Fitting Instructions
Please turn off the lightstrip at the wall before plugging these cables in.  This is because the Control Box calibrates to new cables and Extension LightStrips when powered on so it knows how far to spread the gradient.

Although the cable will plug into some connectors either way up, they will only work one way.  If it doesn't work, turn it off at the wall and plug it in the other way up.  It shouldn't damage the lightstrip if you plug it the wrong way up, as long as its not powered on for hours.

As Phillips didn't design these lightstrips with cables in mind, there is nothing for cables or lightstrips to clip and lock onto.  LightStrips only don't come loose because they are stuck in place.  In some situations you may need to secure the connections in place with insulation tape or heatshrink.
